Being off my music grind for a while, this is the first time I stumbled upon Sol. I found him while looking around GMAD, and I'm glad I did. From what I read about him, I gather all his tracks are just as chill as this one, and if you know me at all, you know that's what I am into. Return of TCSwag- Levels Remix

Hey Guys, Sorry that "That College Swag" has been MIA for a while. Things in my life really kicked up in mid November, and I was unable to find the time to keep the site up to date. But what's important is that I'm back, and the posts will once again begin to come to you daily.

Aye, power is finally back in the 860. So it's time to give you all a new post, the big story today is, of course,  Blue Slide Park. So how could I not post about it? Mac Miller released his first album today and it already reached number 1 on iTunes. All the hype has been worth it, the only complaint I really have is that all the best songs were released before the album even dropped! Besides that Blue Slide Park is DOPE. Matt Scully- Average College Kid

I've been slacking on my posting lately and I saw this and I knew I had to get back on my grind. Matt Scully is one of my old friends back from my high school summer days in the OS. I don't know how he did it but he managed to make a surprisingly catchy song with some REAL lyrics. This rapper from Cleveland has been creating buzz in the Hip-Hop industry. As of late, he's been signed to P-Diddy's label "Bad Boy Records". His mixtape "Lace Up" has been creating lots of talk on Datpiff.com. His delivery is normally at a blistering pace, but MGK can slow it down for a few tracks and spit fire. This rapper should definitely have your attention because, he's climbing up extremely fast and will be a force to be reckoned with. Check him out on BET's "Cypher" as well as his mixtapes.

Great song, my own wish is that turned up the vocals a little bit, but the background track can hold its own. So I have another Pumped Up Kicks Remix for all of you, and this one is a must listen to. Some Hope For Old-School

Rap has become more glamorous since the days of N.W.A and Wu-Tang clan. Now-a-days anyone with money and a cool beat is destined for a hit. Old-school rap is coming back through the underground. What do I mean by this? BET is hosting "the cypher" which is an all-out freestyle over simple beats, and nothing is off-limits. It's the best way to show your stuff and throw some punches at other rappers. And no....these aren't no-name rappers. Names like: Kanye West, Eminem, Yelawolf, Big Sean, Mos Def and Jay-Z (just to name a few) are all throwing down at the cypher. Check it out:
